Pregnancy Rate Exceeds 40% with ZIFT

Zygote Intrafallopian Transfer (ZIFT) is a procedure whereby embryos are placed directly into the fallopian tube. This allows embryos to develop in their most natural environment, as opposed to the artificial environment of the IVF laboratory. Our ZIFT pregnancy rate for women over 40 years of age exceeds 40%.

  Egg Donation

Egg donation allows women to become pregnant even when they lack eggs of their own. Our pregnancy rate with egg donation is over 60%. SMF offers both traditional egg donation and donation using immediately available frozen donor eggs. Dr. Jain has special expertise in the care of women over 45 years of age having published a landmark article in the Journal of the American Medical Association on egg donation in women over fifty.

  Genetic Screening of Embryos and Gender Selection

SMF now offers a new method to accurately identify the parental origin of embryos, screen for the presence of all 24 chromosomes and identify the gender of the embryo if desired. Results are available in 48 hours, thus allowing fresh embryo transfer.
